Friday brought the end of the first week and the whole team feel it's been a great week. On Friday morning Becca and Ivica took a group of six who were the winning team for the Friday Fun Night during term time to the new swimming pool at Medugorje. They had a great time and enjoyed each others company.
Mick, Eleanor and I stayed in Centar and I worked with those who wanted to help put more sea and start the continents on the mosaic.It is really therapeutic. Downstairs they played, found more facts to fill in their passport and did a word search to earn another fact to complete this week. Fun times!!!
In the evening we went onto the Square. This time is so special to Mick and I as it was how everything started in Capljina and it was some of children we met there who now come regularly to Centar. It was the way God showed us the shape of Novi Most Capljina.
Saturday was a team day. We started with Bible Study and prayer, then cleaned the Centar and started to prepare for next week.
Eleanor and Ivica are off to Jahorina next week, a mountainous area just north of Sarajevo in which part of the Winter Olympics were held before the war. It is beautiful there. They will be taking 10 children from Centar to join with Mostar kids to have fun and spend time together. Meantime, Becca, Mick and I will continue the programme in Centar and look at one of the countries of the world.
